encyclopedia meme - day 26
Z:
zed
when i hear the british use this word for the letter z, i associate it with their air of lingual superiority, sophistication and charm. i suspect this is due largely to watching an excessive amount of classic bbc mysteries, which i find strangely comforting. blame chief inspector morse and jane tennison. zed also implies the end of things. that seems fitting here. it has been a pleasure to participate in this exercise, which i would recommend to anyone who keeps a journal or a sketchbook. it fills one month with assignments based in a familiar format that draw to the surface unexpected reflections and surprising insights. it has made me some new friends as well. at the end, a new beginning...

Your encyclopedia is amazing! I really admire your ability to finish right on time and have every entry be thoughtful and meaningful. I (as usual) am in catch-up mode.
