found photos

Grandmother_and_girlsfound_photo

out of all the found photos i have kept over the years, this may be my favorite.

because of this girl, so at ease, and gazing straight into the camera. is she contemplating the photographer? she seems caught deep in thought, linked to and yet apart from everyone else in the scene.

her bathing costume is fantastic. i wonder if she made it herself.

she commands attention and i want to know her story. there is something a little grey gardens about this.

what do you see?

do you have a favorite found photo?

i see what looks like three generations of active, confident, irrepressible women.

and i like it!

Oh.. that suit is Marvellous, Terrific and Wonderful... all at the same time! I wonder WHO she's looking at!

that's an incredible shot. how about the knee high/strappy sandal combo on the girl on the left??

My mind went straight to Grey Gardens even before I scrolled down! I am loving your blog, Aunt of Josh Honn!

Ah yes - many. I'll play.

This is a great photo.
