found photos
i'm still working my way thru the photos found in his storage locker. this one really makes me think...
someone's just had her hair done. is the sitter the one requesting the moment be preserved for all time? or did the photographer also create the hairdo and is she so impressed with the job that she needs a document to show off her handiwork?
or maybe its just a capricious impulse at the kitchen table... "hey! take a picture of the back of my head!"
from the way she's sitting, i get the sense that she is holding still for the photo. this is not a sneaky shot of someone caught unawares.
either way, i'm hoping there were some strong cocktails served at these slide shows back in the day. and i would have loved to attend one.
i think the photo was taken for that shirt more than the hairdo. so chic!

This is fabulous. I want that shirt & the burning cigarette in her fingers is great. Who smokes when they are having their haircut?
